bad news
Just the other day I learned that I won’t be able to ship out until September or October! I was originally trying to go in August but then I asked to ship out on June 20. I do not under stand how the hell every thing is filled up! Even the reserves are full. Wtf . I didn’t think that every single job field would fill up like that. Its stupid. That is saying that our country is ready right now to take on any other country in the world. Are we? I think that the government should have to give the military all necessary money to at least train the recruits. Then put them on call until they can mos train. The only thing is now my life is set back what 4 to 5 months now. I just don’t see how the military is full. I asked around and from what I heard form the army recruits that the army is also full. I mean how is this even possible? Well that’s all I wanted to say for today.

meet my first D.I.
on thrusday i got a real wake up call. i actually got to meet a di! it was a real rare oppertunity. i have never heard of any other recuits talk about meeting a di before going to recruit tranning. as all recuits know, every three months all the recruiters and recruits (some parents come too.) to a event known as family night. family night... how can i explane it? its kinda hard to do. well lets get to the good stuff and worry about the other stuff later. the recruiters got all the recruits together in a attention formation. that is when you get in horazontal lines and stand with your arms along your side, your feet at a forty degree angle and your hands in a fist. your thumbs are pointed down along the seam of your pants. any way there is about 25 or so recruits standing in this ba formation, when two D.I.s come brusting in the doors, they quickly introduce them selfs. one was a girl and one was an alpha male. they start yelling orders and tell us how to talk for now on. like yes sir no sir ii sir Ect then they tell us to get on our faces so we do. they then tell us to get up. he yells and tells us that we have to say ii sir or no sir after anything he says so he tells us to get on our faces. ii sir! then he tells us when he says up we do a push up but at the same time we all have to yell MARINE CORPS!!! so we do a cupple of those the he tells us to get up so we do, most of us yell ii sir or yes sir, but some didnt so we had to do more push ups. on of the weaker individuals lets out some sort of like cry but not crying. so while the rest of us are still in push up position, the di makes that kid stand up. they then call him some kind of names and the kid almost started to cry. then were told to get up. ii sir. once we get up we are told to run and touch this table across the room so we all say yes sir and start to run to the table. the di then says stop some do but some do. i think the key is that the di s wants us to obbay them and do every thing right even if it counterdicks what he just said. Then right after that he tells us to get back into formation. Yes sir. keep in mind there is another di who is constetely busting some ones ass for messing up so some time you have to do what the others do and hope to god there are doing it right, so you dont get busted. the Alpha male spoted some one who wasint yelling yes sir or any thing, man did this really piss of the di who ran over to him and got in face. the other di then went over to the same kid and started to i dont know just go ahhh! ahhh! on the other side of the kids face. some of the things the di was yelling was, "Why are you not yelling?" Before the kid could awnser the di said "You want to be differnt dont you?!!!!" then the kid spoke up No SIR!!! man 2o min. went by like a second. it was the most intense exciteing thing but real thing that i have ever done. once we got to sit back down, the di then told us that this is just a taste of what boot camp was like. that is when i realized that they never yelled a sware word. that showed me just how disaplened they where. its there job to yell at the recruits and to beat them down. but in every movie or any real video that i had seen that involved marine corps boot camp 90% of it was swareing. so that really modivated me. they said with in the first week is when people start to drop out the most. because some of the recruits thought it was cool and ba. even though it was you still got to remember that they got to go home that night ensted of being at boot camp in a bunk with 80 other recruits for three months, and that is nuts to even think about
